Dive Insight:
Costco appears to be holding its own, despite fierce and increasing competition. Amazon has increased the number of products offered on its site at low prices, and Sam’s Club has a lower membership fee and benefits from parent company’s Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s wide reach. Its numbers look good despite falling gas prices, too.
