Other appointments include: Cooperman, EVP strategy, initiatives and real estate; Ted Passig, EVP buying and sourcing; Phil Vostrejs, EVP merchandise planning allocation, distribution and supply chain; and Brian Amkraut, SVP real estate.

Gregg Scanlon was promoted to SVP of store operations and services and joins this leadership team.

The country’s largest pet retailer, PetSmart was bought in December by a London-based private equity firm and in March announced it was going private. Now comes the fun part. PetSmart is aiming for growth, and the leadership team assembled by president-CEO Michael Massey brings significant retail experience.
