Dive Insight:
It was clear when key executives excited in the past few months that CEO Federica Marchionni would be making her mark, and now she is assembling her team. Her picks give some hit of her priorities; creating a new position of chief supply chain officer shows her understanding of today’s omni-channel universe. The choice of Ian Velardi, who has a much-admired and award-winning track record from his own eponymous line and his work at Bonobos, shows that Marchionni is interested in advancing Lands’ End’s menswear game.
