Dive Insight:
Marc Schneider has 30 years of retail experience, most recently at PVH Corp where he led the Heritage Brands. He’s also had top positions at Timberland, Macy’s, and Bob’s Stores. Paul Blum had worked closely running things with Kenneth Cole for a decade or so, and Cole appears ready for that kind of partnership once again.
“Over the last year, we have been working on transformative initiatives to better position the company for future global growth,” Cole said in a statement. “Marc’s vast background and success in all facets of the apparel, footwear and accessories businesses will be instrumental in navigating this journey, and I’m thrilled to welcome and partner with him as our new CEO.”
