Dive Insight:
Jewelry retailers are ramping up collections specifically targeted, and marketed, to men.
Earlier this month, Tiffany & Co. debuted men's engagement rings. The Charles Tiffany Setting is inspired by the famous Tiffany Setting design, but modernized and meant to signal "a bold new era of love," according to the luxury retailer.
While apparel overall suffered during the height of the pandemic and is in the middle of a rebound, men's jewelry has done well and is reportedly on the rise.
"I've been a jewelry designer as long as I've been a mom — as my boys have grown, so has this business," said Scott in a statement.
In February, Kendra Scott announced that she was stepping down as CEO of her namesake company and would continue to serve as executive chairwoman and majority owner. She served in the role for nearly 20 years.
