CINCINNATI, March 12, 2020 — Tultex, an apparel brand under TSC Apparel, has launched its new 1926 Heritage Collection, based on the company’s rich history. This is following its brand refresh announcement at the beginning of the year, which included a new logo, website and brand designs across its social media accounts.
The 1926 Heritage Collection currently includes the Heritage tee and the Retro crop top, which are available in seven new colors: Cantaloupe, Cassis, Medieval Blue, Mellow Yellow, Neo Mint, Purist Blue and Washed Black. Coming soon is the 1910 Heritage Fleece Hoodie. All styles are viewable here.
“Our colors and styles for the Heritage Collection were inspired by the global color trends for 2020,” Vice President of Merchandising and Brand Management Debbie Gonzalez said. “Neo Mint has been telling a story with younger fashion-forward brands. We knew it wouldn’t be long before we saw it on fashion runways, in retail stores, and inevitably into wholesale as trends dilute into mainstream fashion. Other popular colors we were excited to incorporate into the line were Cantaloupe, Mellow Yellow, Purist Blue and Cassis.”
Since 1926, Tultex has embodied the American entrepreneurial spirit, building an enduring and dynamic business based on quality, customer service and innovation. Each collection and campaign is inspired by the company’s “3T” product promise of tried spirit, true design and trusted quality.
“We are delighted to introduce the 1926 Heritage Collection,” Gonzalez said. “Throughout the design process, our goal was to create a collection that embodied our roots. So we started with a fleece sweatshirt that resembled the first sweatshirt Tultex created in 1926. From there, we designed a unisex tee that is truly a binary fit for men and women and a crop top. Our entire line was inspired by our company’s heritage, and we hope the customers will see how thoughtful we were to include the details of the past while using the materials of the future.”

About Tultex:
For nearly 100 years, Tultex has embodied the American entrepreneurial spirit, building an enduring and dynamic business based on quality, customer service and innovation.
A pioneer in fleece garments, Tultex, then known as the Sale Knitting Company, provided important support to the armed services during World War II. Afterward, as a new generation went to college in the ’50s and ’60s, Tultex dressed them for pep rallies and protests. As the country discovered fitness in the ’70s, Tultex cheered it on, and in the ’80s, ’90s and beyond, as the humble sweatshirt became a must-have fashion item, Tultex was at the leading edge. Now in the digital age, Tultex keeps looking forward, wired for global industry but never losing sight of our hometown roots.
