This week's Retail Therapy is chock full of reminders of yesteryear, but with a twist. There's Peeps in the springtime—in liquid form. There's coloring books—for adults. And then there's Kanye West being Kanye West, appearing to be poking around for his next retail collaboration (and, of course, tweeting about it).
Adulting, with crayons
Kicking it old school, The Washington Post reports that sales of coloring books for adults saw a “dramatic jump” last year, from 1 million sold in 2014 to 12 million in 2015. The trend is largely contributed to the release of Scottish illustrator Johanna Basford’s “Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book,” as well as coloring's stress-relieving affect.
Got (sugar-laden and heavily-flavored) Milk?
Just in time for Easter, there’s super-sugary milk that's supposed to taste like Peeps. Bustle reports that dairy company Prairie Farm is releasing its line of Peeps-flavored milk nationwide this year, featuring flavors like Strawberry Crème, Chocolate Marshmallow, and (Easter) Egg Nog. Yum?
I spy a Yeezy
Kanye West was spotted at Ikea headquarters in southern Sweden visiting “several Ikea facilities including its design division,” according to AP. Given West’s passion for design (see: Yeezy season 1, 2, and 3), this news naturally had people speculating about what an Ikea/Kanye collaboration would look like.
Super inspired by my visit to Ikea today , really amazing company… my mind is racing with the possibilities…

Ours too, Kanye, ours too.
Can’t win them all
Some more news in the world of bizarre food trends: pre-peeled oranges.
If only nature would find a way to cover these oranges so we didn't need to waste so much plastic on them. pic.twitter.com/00YECaHB4D

After a Whole Foods customer tweeted out a picture of pre-packaged, pre-peeled oranges selling for $5.99 a pound, many were quick to criticize the retailer for what seemed to be wasteful packaging and out-of-touch products. Whole Foods pulled the oranges, but that sparked new criticism from people saying that the unskinned fruit was actually helpful to people with disabilities that have trouble peeling oranges.
The next Dress
So, remember this?
It's the dress that sparked a thousand arguments, with some people seeing it as gold and white, while others see it as blue and black.
This week, the Internet was captivated yet again by the color of a piece of clothing, this time directing its gaze to presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. During the Democratic Presidential debate on Wednesday, arguments broke out over Twitter around the exact hue of Sanders’ suit—was it black, blue, brown, or, for the jokers out there, eggplant?
What color was @BernieSanders suit!? Blue? Black? Brown?

Settling the debate was Sanders’ campaign representitive Mike Casca.
