What's old is new and what's new is old—at least in retail land this week. Both stationery and Juicy Couture tracksuits are trying to make a comeback, confirming all our fears: Matthew McConaughey was right.

Snazzy snail mail
The days of handwritten notes may not be over, at least as evidenced by the National Stationery Show that took place this week in New York. The New York Times profiled some of the most interesting creatives in the stationery world at the event that hosted more than 750 booths of cards, ranging from the witty (a picture of Bernie Sanders with the words “I Bern For You”) to the niche (condolences for pet deaths).
Guess who's back
Again with the flashbacks: Juicy tracksuits. You know the kind.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that Bloomingdale’s is trying to bring the velour tracksuit back, with premium prices that harken back to the early aughts. Pieces from Juicy Couture Black Label run for $108 for a top and $88 for pants. As Business Insider points out, the question of who will buy luxury tracksuits remains unanswered, with Kohl’s already selling similar Juicy Couture tracksuits for less than half the price.
Beauty, manufactured
Your favorite beauty blogger’s secret weapon might not be the best blender or a trick for several-inches-long eyelashes. But it might just be a circular light from the DVE Store: According to Racked’s Cheryl Wischhover, the light provides a warm glow that minimizes undereye circles, blemishes, and makes you photo-ready. One model even has a camera stand mounted in the middle for selfies.
Ring power
What’s cooler than paying for your afternoon coffee with your watch? Paying for it with a ring. Visa is offering the 45 international athletes of Team Visa attending the Summer Olympic Games in Brazil a special NFC-enabled ring, where they can pay with a fist bump—obviously, the most superior form of payment.
