2024 is already off to a fast start in the DTC space.
Several brands have brought on fresh leadership, including Beyond Yoga, Sweaty Betty, Hello Bello and Casper. Others are on the cusp of an exit — like The Honey Pot, which entered into a deal to be acquired by Compass Diversified for $380 million, and Arc’teryx and Wilson owner Amer Sports, which filed for an IPO and is seeking an $8.7 billion valuation.
And even as the industry becomes saturated with competition, and legacy DTC brands face challenges, new brands are beginning to emerge and stake their place in consumers’ lives.
