In addition to the gift-card theft operation, Giuffrida also instructed the people working for him to steal small, expensive items from stores, such as car headlights, printer ink cartridges, razor blades, dental whitening strips, batteries and designer glasses. Giuffrida sold these items on several websites, police said. In regards to the new arrests, many of those people committed additional crimes while they were released on bail from their original criminal charges related to the West York Borough Police Department's investigation, police said.
