Adding to the running list of company changes this year, Peloton’s Senior Vice President and Global Head of Marketing, Communications & Membership Dara Treseder is leaving the home-gym brand to become Chief Marketing Officer at Autodesk, according to a LinkedIn post.
Additionally, Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Cornils — who Treseder originally reported to — left his position last Friday, according to a Peloton Spokesperson. Treseder will report to CEO Barry McCarthy until her departure on Oct. 4.
Peloton currently is searching for someone to fill a new chief marketing officer position at the company, according to the spokesperson. Both Cornils and Treseder’s roles will remain unfilled as the brand restructures its executive suite.
“Peloton wishes Dara every success in her next chapter. During her time at the company, Peloton has become one of the most beloved and culturally relevant brands and our member base has grown from over 2.6 million to over 6.9 million,” Peloton said in a statement. “We value Dara and are grateful for everything she has done. We wish her the very best.”
The news comes just a few weeks after Peloton’s co-founders John Foley and Hisao Kushi left the company entirely, exiting their roles as chairperson of the board and chief legal officer respectively. Foley had stepped down as Peloton's CEO in February.
