Mobiquity Networks will provide ShopAdvisor with location-based information to target consumers in malls nationwide under a new partnership. Users of the ShopAdvisor site and mobile app will receive alerts when they are near retailers carrying products in which they have expressed interest, get details on prices and special offers, and be notified of comparable offers and products.
Using ShopAdvisor, consumers can highlight products they want and take advantage of personalized offers; the app will now be able to steer them to the appropriate bricks-and-mortar stores as they shop. Mobiquity currently has beacons in 220 premier U.S. shopping malls, and plans to add about 20 locations this year.
