Dive Insight:
Dunn’s appointment follows other recent hires made at MeUndies.
The brand brought on Ariel Stoddard as chief revenue officer and Caroline Nark as vice president of marketing. Both Stoddard and Nark previously worked for Fabletics as general manager and senior director of Fabletics Scrubs, respectively.
Dunn’s appointment also comes as MeUndies continues to implement a revised strategy to seek more wholesale partnerships. MeUndies CEO Jonathan Shokrian highlighted that Dunn’s “deep understanding of wholesale dynamics” will help the brand achieve this goal.
"Elizabeth will be instrumental in expanding our wholesale presence, ensuring that MeUndies is not just a direct-to-consumer brand but also a name that resonates in key retail environments,” Shokrian said in a statement.
Shokrian co-founded the brand with Barak Diskin in 2011 after Shokrian became frustrated by his own personal experiences of shopping for underwear. MeUndies began as a digital DTC men’s and women’s underwear brand and later expanded into swimwear, socks, bralettes, activewear and more. MeUndies has raised over $50 million, and to date it has sold over 33 million pairs of underwear in all 50 states and in 37 countries worldwide, per the company.
MeUndies offers products through its website, Amazon, 20 Nordstrom locations, Von Maur stores and on Zappos.com, the company said.
