The 55 Loblaw Real Canadian Superstore and Liquorstore workers went on strike primarily seeking additional working hours each week, and will most likely remain on strike until the new contract agreement has been ratified. “The new agreement will present employees with a number of significant improvements over and above the company’s last offer,” said the union representing the workers.
