Following a number of C-suite appointments, Francesca’s on Monday announced the company has named Teresa Baker executive vice president and chief financial officer, according to a company press release.
Baker comes to the retailer with over two decades of retail and e-commerce experience, including as CFO and COO at Colorado Group, acting president EMEA and global e-commerce at Jimmy Coo and CFO and head of operations at Liberty department store. She most recently worked as CFO for online dollar store Hollar.
Baker joined Francesca’s on Nov. 7, and interim CFO Curt Kroll will support the company until the end of the fiscal year.
Earlier this fall the retailer appointed Build-A-Bear vet Mike Early as its CTO. Francesca’s also named Laura Schick as its vice president of e-commerce. Those two hires were, in part, to help build out the customer loyalty program and curate shopping experiences.
The retailer has since delivered a “revitalized” loyalty program, dubbed The Fran Club, where shoppers can earn points on every dollar spent.
The combined hires are strategic and showcase the company’s investment in talent in what it calls a pivotal year for growth.
“Building and refining our executive team allows for sustained growth in areas that will ultimately impact the seamless and convenient experience we want consumers to have each and every time they engage with us," CEO Andrew Clarke said in a statement.
