Beginning today, luxury department store Barneys New York is offering shoppers the option of buying items pictured on its Instagram feed by clicking through to find them at its e-commerce site.
Designers with Instagram pages such as Jennifer Meyer, Jennifer Fisher, Lisa Marie Fernandez and Solid & Striped will link to Barneys’ “shoppable” Instagram images, which are powered by Curalate’s Like2Buy platform. Other retailers with Instagram purchase options include Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and Wiliams-Sonoma.
