The store at Brookfield Place adds to Arc’teryx’s growing brick-and-mortar presence through its own stores and retail partners.
The company’s products are distributed through more than 2,400 retail locations worldwide, including over 160 branded stores. In April, the retailer opened its 28th branded location in the U.S. in Chicago.
The Brookfield Place store, which opened July 27, carries an assortment of items across Arc’teryx’s full range of products. It is a dedicated destination for all layers, including shells, insulated jackets and base layers, set around a “Makers Table” to make it easy to create a customized system of dress, per the company.
“Arc’teryx is a perfect fit for Brookfield Place, and we’re thrilled to add them to our roster of top-tier retail tenants,” Callie Haines, executive vice president and head of the Northeast Region of Brookfield Properties, said in a statement. “Brookfield Place is busier than ever, with foot traffic, sales and office occupancy continuing to climb up and up. It’s a great time for Arc’teryx to open this new location.”
Arc’teryx joins a number of prominent active retail brands at Brookfield Place, including Nike’s Well Collective and Lululemon.
The outdoor apparel market is experiencing tremendous growth. The global market value of the sector is projected to increase from $15.7 billion in 2022 to $22.8 billion by 2030, according to a recent report by SkyQuest.
