State Farm offers fast estimate through mobile ad campaign
The company is running the mobile banner ads within Pandora’s iPhone application. The company is aiming to build a relationship with existing and new consumers via the ad campaign.
State Farm insures cars and homes and also offers customers banking, annuities and mutual fund products.

When consumer tap on the mobile banner ad they are redirected to a mobile-optimized landing page where they can find out how to get coverage and discounts, as well as save money.
Users are encouraged to enter their ZIP code and other information to get a fast estimate.
Through the mobile landing page, consumers can also find an agent, call for a rate quote, browse the claims center feature, find a repair facility and report a vehicle.
Additionally, consumers can access their account.
An ad campaign such as this is a great way for State Farm to reach as many consumers as possible.
Mobile past
State Farm has been ramping up its mobile strategy over the past couple of years.
In 2010, State Farm Bank let its customers deposit checks into their accounts via a new iPhone application.
The Pocket Agent application lets customers use the mobile deposit for their savings, checking, interest checking and Money Market accounts. The service is compatible with iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 (see story).
Most recently, State Farm provided users with individual feedback about their driving habits and offered tips on how they can drive more safely via a new Android application.
The Driver Feedback app is available for free download in Google’s Android Market. Additionally, the app is also available to iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users (see story).
