Citi debuts tablet-based service for clients

The Citi Issuer Access service is a tablet-based suite designed specifically for issuers involved in the capital formation process. As part of the initiative, clients will receive a dedicated tablet preloaded with a suite of applications such as a real-time view into the order book, access to investor profiles, roadshow travel, meeting schedule, post-pricing investor relations services and support.

“The initiative behind Citi Issuer Access if for us to be completely transparent and develop an even deeper partnership with our issuer clients by empowering them throughout the entire capital formation process,” said Philip Drury, head of equity syndicate Americas at Citigroup.

“This initiative allows clients immediate access to a sophisticated suite of applications delivered efficiently on a mobile device,” he said.

Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Mobile finances
Via the mobile suite, an issuer can view the syndicate bookbuilding app to see the order book real-time along with offering feedback.

Additionally, clients can view in-depth investor profiles, including portfolio characteristics, holdings and investment approach.

The suite also features live access to Bigdough’s database of institutional contacts and advanced investor screening tools.

“In our discussion with clients so far about Citi Issuer Access, the response has been overwhelmingly positive and many are eager to experience it first hand,” Mr. Drury said.

Enhancements
Clients can view real-time market intelligence, quotes and news via the tablet.

The suite lets issuers access the prospectus and other offering-related documentation, as well as investor relations services such as shareholder insights and market analytics.

In addition to the offering-related tools and content listed above, each tablet may be loaded with a collection of additional applications and content based on each user’s preferences.

“As a firm, Citi is committed to technology innovation and Citi Issuer access is a clear example of Citi leveraging technology to better serve clients,” Mr. Drury said.
