HSN lets customers shop within videos via iPad app
The HSN application lets users stream live video from HSN and HSN2 or watch previously-aired content from the network’s video library on the screen while simultaneously browsing related products on the bottom half of the screen. Additionally, customers can enlarge any aspect of the application.
HSN is an interactive multichannel retailer, offering a curated assortment of exclusive products and top brand names to its customers.
Mobile features
The 15 video-on-demand channels include products from fashion, jewelry, kitchen, electronics, shoes and handbags and home categories.
Customers can create up to five of their own personalized channels or select their favorite brands or categories and compile videos focused on those preferences.

In addition, consumers can view product details, images, customer reviews and related products before making a purchase.
HSN claims that future versions of the application will offer customers additional features to create a more personalized shopping experience.
